Originally from the Mediterranean, there are two types of mustard available; brown (black) & yellow (white), yellow being the milder. Ground mustard is usually a mixture of both. Frequently used in Indian, African & Asian dishes or can be used for sauces, dressings & chutneys. The seed is fried in hot oil releasing the flavour. May contain traces of celery seed.
